Mix Enhancement

How does it work? We focus on inner mix details in terms of better presentation, but we do NOT re-mix instead of you. We preserve stemsʼ levels while unobtrusively enhancing their sound and mix soundstage using state of the art analog and digital arsenal. Enhancements are subtle, but they, as a whole, do make a real difference. It is not saturation! Itʼs more about analog summing (if it might work for advantage), tasteful, high quality compression (to enhance dynamics when necessary), and other in-house developed techniques. Mixes will sound more attractive and more engaging to the public- thatʼs what it is all about!

How does it differ from mastering? We work from stems on this one. As itʼs being done in mastering environment, the only similarity is actually the concept- different ears- fresh perspective- reference monitoring system. More on it in our FAQ section.

Mixes from less experienced artists/producers/mixers might get the most out of it.

How To Try

The procedure is as follows:

• prepare your stems- ask your producer/mixer to provide them, or if you do it yourself- export stems within your DAW (some DAWs allow to do that with just one click- refer to your DAW documentation on this topic if unsure how to do that)
• upload them, along with a reference mix, using our UPLOAD page or any service of your choice (if so, remember to provide us a link :))
• leave contact details (email/phone no) and short message (our file transferring service allows to do that) that you want to try our Mix Enhancement service
• get ready for your new listening experience with a full preview or just a snippet of your enhanced mix!

How To Order

For new clients only the procedure is as follows:

• contact us first, using our online CHAT or CONTACT form and:
  • provide information on:
    • number of mixes
    • number of stems in every mix
    • total time of mixes to enhance
    • if mixes need to be mastered too
  • request a quote based on information provided above
  • ask about current discounts (you can be surprised!)
• let us get familiar with your tracks youʼre willing to enhance by uploading them HERE – do not undervalue this step, it will vastly help to get the most out of this service (more on this on our FAQ page, section B)
• upon scope agreement you receive up-front fee invoice and pay to get started
• upon work completion you receive tracks for review
• upon work acceptance you receive remaining-fee invoice and pay to get the exciting tracks and enjoy them!

Existing clients are entitled for individual approach/benefits, and already know the process, usually tailored to their specific needs.
